By entering the competition, you accept the following conditions.
The competition is open to all individuals aged 18 or over who are permanently resident in Switzerland. Only one entry is permitted per person. Members of Organising Committee 2026 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship AG are excluded from entering. The required details must be provided truthfully and in full. Automatically generated entries and technical manipulations will be excluded from the competition. The Organising Committee of the 2026 IIHF WM reserves the right to exclude participants in the event of inappropriate entries (including the provision of incorrect data) and to award the prizes to other participants.
Participation in the competition is free of charge and is not connected to any purchase obligation or paid order. The competition runs until the published date.
By sending in or uploading photos, participants confirm that they possess all rights to the submitted photo and are not violating any copyright or personal rights. This means, in particular, that the person depicted on the photo must have given their consent to its publication. If minors are depicted, participants must obtain consent from the holder of parental authority. If third parties assert claims in respect of a violation of their rights, the participants shall indemnify Organising Committee 2026 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship AG against all claims.
The participants shall retain all rights to their photos at all times. They grant Organising Committee 2026 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship AG the right, free of charge, to present these photos as often as it wishes and without any restrictions as to location, to make them publicly accessible, to distribute them and to make them available for download by third parties.
Submissions that are of a racist, pornographic or otherwise offensive nature, or that violate the competition rules, are excluded. The decision of Organising Committee 2026 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship AG on admission to the competition shall be final.
The winners will be drawn at random and in camera at the headquarters of Organising Committee 2026 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship AG in Glattbrugg. They will be notified personally. If a winner cannot be contacted within an acceptable period of time, Organising Committee 2026 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship AG shall be entitled to contact a replacement winner. If, after the winner has been notified, the prize cannot be delivered for reasons that are the winner’s responsibility, the prize shall be forfeited without replacement. If the prize cannot be delivered for a reason that is not the responsibility of Organising Committee 2026 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship AG, Organising Committee 2026 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship AG shall be entitled to award an equivalent substitute prize. The prize shall be delivered free of charge within Switzerland. If the claiming of the prize gives rise to consequential costs, such costs shall be borne by the winner. If tax must be paid on the prize, this shall be the responsibility of the winner. Prizes cannot be paid out in cash. It also is not possible to award a substitute prize at the winner’s request. Prizes are not transferable and cannot be sold.
To the extent legally permissible, Organising Committee 2026 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship AG rejects all liability in connection with the competition and shall not be liable for losses caused by third parties. No correspondence will be entered into. Any decision is final.
Changes will be announced on the website of Organising Committee 2026 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship AG. Organising Committee 2026 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship AG reserves the right to discontinue or terminate the competition early at any time without giving rise to compensation claims and without prior announcement or indication of the reasons for doing so. This may be done in particular for technical or legal reasons that jeopardise the proper running of the competition.
The competition is being held by Organising Committee 2026 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship AG. It is not connected to Meta in any way and is not sponsored, supported or organised by Meta. The sole contact and party responsible for the competition is Organising Committee 2026 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship AG.
Organising Committee 2026 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship AG advises that participants’ personal data (in particular contact details such as e-mail addresses, names, telephone numbers and photos) shall only be used in the context of the competition. Organising Committee 2026 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship AG treats personal data confidentially and does not pass it onto third parties.
If the participants agree, Organising Committee 2026 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship AG will use their personal data to send information and special offers to them. Participants may prohibit Organising Committee 2026 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship AG from further use of their personal data at any time.
Thereafter, personal data will be deleted as soon as it is no longer required for the aforementioned purposes or until the retention and limitation periods stipulated by law or the supervisory authorities expire.
