Dear Volunteer,
On Friday, 29 May 2026, we are pleased to invite all volunteers to the Volunteer Farewell Event in the official Fan Zone Zurich. Together, we would like to look back on the 2026 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship, relive the many great moments, and celebrate together.

Registration deadline: 22 May 2026
Volunteers who have already registered do not need to register again.
Volunteers assigned to the Zurich location will attend the Farewell Event in Zurich. Volunteers assigned to the Fribourg location will attend the Farewell Event in Fribourg. Changing locations is not possible. Participation at both locations is also excluded.

- 11:00 – 11:30 a.m.: Arrival
- 11:30 a.m.: Welcome & Information
- from 12:00 p.m.: Lunch
- 12:00 – 3:00 p.m.: Social gathering
- 4:00 p.m.: Closing
Highlight: Concert by Bastian Baker from 1.00 p.m. to 2.00 p.m.
Food and Drink
You will receive voucher for food and beverages on site. Once the voucher amount has been used up, any additional consumption must be paid for individually.
Dress code
Please appear in official volunteer clothing and carry your accreditation with you at all times.
Farewell Gift
As a thank you for your commitment, you will receive a farewell gift during the Farewell Event. If you are unable to attend the event, the gift can be collected at the Home of Volunteers until from 30 to 31 May 2026.
Look forward to a great atmosphere, delicious food, and the best moments of the 2026 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship together in good company.
